Grim Reaper Posted February 28, 2006 Share Posted February 28, 2006 I also have a standard one, never been fitted to an engine, came in the Caterham conversion kit but I fitted a QED steel one instead. As you may have seen on techtalk there is a bit of debate on whether I do need a new flywheel. Basically Angus & Tessas car had the same symptoms as mine and it was cured with a new flywheel, but the guy at Caterham Parts reckons my problem is 99% likely to be starter motor.
