Mick Day Posted February 18, 2006 Share Posted February 18, 2006 I have an old type INA CRB fitted in May 2002. Engine & Gearbox now out for rebuild. I have a new SKF CRB available but the old CRB from Germany seems fine, not had any noises etc whilst in use. If the old one fails in 500 miles you will be kicking yourself. I have a small collection - an old INA that I took out after 20k miles, a new SNF one that lasted 5k or so (before I pranged the car) - but it was a brand new SNF that went in this afternoon. Allen Payne Posted February 18, 2006 Share Posted February 18, 2006 I changed my CRB about five years as the one fitted was over 10 years old. The new lasted about six months and get the car back on the road I re-fitted the old one - it's still fine. But you should fit the new one!
