Ernie Panks
Just blatted back from work and found that my engine won't return to the normal idle speed, min revs I can get down to is 2000rpm. Also the revs die very slowy when changing between gears. Have ruled out sticky throttle pedal as all is free and when taking my foot off pedal, it snaps shut. I had another look a few minutes ago and it now seems normal even when hot As sure as eggs is eggs, it's going to happen again (probably on ice!) What else could cause this TMAP sensor? IACV? Anything else? Ernie visit Carrotland.co.uk

Ernie Panks
Thanks, Will clean IACV. How do you reset ECU? It's a std MEMS unit. Cheers, Ernie visit Carrotland.co.uk
Nifty
I've had this several times Ernie and it cured itself. Was this why you didn't drop in 🤔 I'd got the tea and cakes all ready for you and you let me down Keep off the straight and narrow 😬
Ernie Panks
Sorry mate, it was the reason I didn't drop in. By the time I'd got in from the garage, it was a bit too late. I'll drop in tonight. That's the problem with running the 7 as a daily driver, you need to get it sorted by the next day if the missus needs her own car! Still haven't found anything that has definitely caused the problem. I've just driven to work and it hasn't re-occurred. My money's on the IACV. visit Carrotland.co.uk
