My lack of technical knowledge means I'm too thick to know what some of the parts actually are and whether I want them! phillinda Posted February 11, 2006 Share Posted February 11, 2006 Chris just taken my front wishbones (upper & lower), mudguard stays & A-frame to Kelcoat in Leek this morning (and the garden gate). Had to get all the bushes pressed out at my local motor factor first but only cost £20 and he even gave me the tool that he'd made up so I can press the new bushes back in myself. £30 for the Caterham bits to be Nylon coated and £50 for the garden gate (vinyl coated). They can't do the track rod ends or upper wishbone ends as the sandblasting process will damage the bearings. One of the upper wishbone ends is knackered anyway. also learning about Caterhams as only bought mine last summer. Arranged to pick up an upper wishbone rod end next Tuesday as only 5 miles from where I work. If you don't have any success then let me know and I'll pass on your request.
