finmac
Wonder has any one tried using a leather dye to change colour of leather (red to black)? Any experiences/thoughts welcome!
DanC
Although i personaly havent used it, we use it quite a lot at my work (classic resto) with good result. The seats have to be stripped right down and cleaned with a cleaner that comes with the kit and then the dye can be applied with a sponge or sprayed. I can't remember what we use but im going into work later and will check
Leadership Team Mcalvert Posted February 11, 2006 Leadership Team Share Posted February 11, 2006 Yes - I have used this stuff from Frosts here In my case it was restoring worn red to new looking red, but it worked a treat and covered up blemishes beautifully. I have no doubt that it would do the job for you. Regards, Michael.
