Adrian Williams
I don’t want anything for it but I have a carbon canister from a K, I was going to chuck it but thought it might be of use to someone. Comes with wiring loom plug and bracket to hold it to chassis. Adrian
Brucey
Adrian, I'd love to say 'I'll have it', but I don't know what a 'Carbon Canister' is I take it that it isn't an exhaust bit as it has wiring attached. Please put me out of my misery ❗ Bruce.
Adrian Williams
Bruce you’re not the first to ask but the first to go ‘public’ 😬 Description below: It is a black plastic can 3-4" in diameter and 6" high normally fitted in front of the drivers foot box. It is filled with carbon pellets and has breather pipes from the fuel tank and inlet manifold connected to it. The idea is for it to absorb any nasty gases rather than releasing them into the atmosphere. Might be needed for emissions regs depending on age of engine etc. Adrian
Brucey
Adrian, Thanks for that I've often wondered what that bit was ❗ Nice use of the word 'carbon' in the title though Now I know why people aren't queing up for it! Bruce.

Steve Robinson
Now I understand. When I saw carbon can for free I thought you had come over seriously generous. My biking background had me thinking you were giving away a carbon exhaust 😳 Steve
david nelson
does a carbon canister slow you down? David SL #
Adrian Williams
Steve, the clue is in the title 'FREE' 😬 David, it certainly doesn't make you go faster I think you should have it ❗ Adrian
