Jason - if that was the SC box out of my old 40th Aniversary R985 SJB, which I suspect it is

 

then here are some more details, it was a great gearbox and was in excellent condition when I sold the car last year. If I didn't now have a 6 speed I would consider this and it seems a good price...

 

SPC close ratio, straight cut gearbox, which has also had some work done by BGH to improve the oil ways and rose jointed gear stick for very fast gear changes,

(Gear Ratios 2.39, 1.69, 1.34, 1.00, 0.91)

If this sc type 9 will take Vx 2.0 XE power and torque I'll have it.

Jukesy - I belive that this gearbox was originally fitted in a vx powered caterham prior to being put in the k series.

 

If I am correct as to whom the previous owner was then it should be able to handle a lot of torque and power
