Silver 21
After more months with it sat in the garage doing nothing and not having the time to commit to it for the forseeable future I have once again decided that I will try and sell my car. Approx 80% complete Car is based on 1996 (N Reg) ex academy/scholarship car so race chassis Currently consists of: Respayed Body in Black Blackbird Engine installed with new Nova Racing Dry Sump pan, new Pace Pump & Tank Nova Racing in line reverse box New propshafts to mate it all together Rebuilt LA (SPC Components) with 3.28 ratio Dynojettted Carbs Correct airbox for Blackbird Install Complete Blackbird exhaust system Blackbird wiring Loom and ECU's etc New Honda Radiator New Protech Shocks & Springs Wide Track conversion Aeroscreen Half doors New RIF Carbon Blank Dash Mychron Dash Display Kevlar Tillets FIA Roll Bar & Boot Cover 2 Sets of Alloys, 1 Set steel wheels + all the other bits associated with the build I would be looking for offers around the £10.5K mark or would consider p/ex for a Class 2/3 eligible car and the buyer would need to spend some time to finish it, if you have the time to do it this will be a good investment. Car is currently on its wheels, engine, reverse box, axle, props installed. To finish needs wiring sorting (bike harness), dash, scuttle fitting, wings fitting, lights etc, brakes Photos available on request Graham Lotus 7 Club General Secretary
Mike Molloy
Oh no! Not again, Graham... ☹️ This must be a real bargain. When I costed up a similar build (based on a LA starter kit) it came to 16K in parts alone! *idea*Why don't you give Nigel Keats a ring and see if he would give you a quote for nailing the bits together? I think he is on 01527 821675 (check his ads in LF if this is wrong). Just the other side of Redditch from you. Gee, it seems a real shame to give up when you are soooo close. Silver 21
Mike I don't really want to get rid of it and getting someone else to finish it may still be an option 😬 Graham Lotus 7 Club General Secretary

DSL
Anybody thinking of going down the bike engined route, at this price this it has to be worth a go *thumbup* Having not quite finished the build of a bike engined car, I can vouch for the excellent value for money on offer here *thumbup* Best of luck BB, or as Mark has suggested lets help you get it finished with a build weekend, I am sure there are enough technically gifted seveners out there 🤔 (I do not count myself as one of them however!, but would be glad to assist in anyway)
