Frying Pan
Thought I'd been spotted - I was on the M40 southbound briefly yesterday, but my hood was in the boot Guy See some pictures of the build here. 8000 miles completed!
db
Duh - on M40 at Stokenchurch? Should be going up fish hill -- off at the bottom of the hill, back on just after Stokenchurch. Loverly. My ... Preciousss! Member #109**
Frying Pan
That ain't Fish Hill - Fish Hill is on the A44 at Broadway. The A40 at Stokenchurch is a good road, but prone to leaves and mud, and too much traffic. The motorway tunnel at the Stokenchurch junction of the M40 is nice and echo-ey as well Guy See some pictures of the build here. 8000 miles completed! Frying Pan
Under the motorway. Only the width of the carriageway, but nicely domed for full reverb 😬 See some pictures of the build here. 8000 miles completed!
db
Ah that's further up -- the pro's choice is up fish hill (yes it is) - I'll check that -- and then immediately right towards Christmas Common. My ... Preciousss! Member #109**
db
PS - turns out it's called Aston Hill. But I like calling it Fish Hill. I do know the one at Broadway too... 😬 😬 😬 My ... Preciousss! Member #109**
Cookie Monster
You are both right - the old A40 is a fine road for a seven when its light/dry.Lived in Stokenchurch for many years & regularly blatted up there.Plenty of other good roads around there too which I still use regularly. Cheers, Phil.
