For Sale; Thomson Tivo, fitted with 160Gb hardrive and a turbonet card so it can get updates over the internet instead of dialing up. It is also fitted with an extra sound proofing kit to keep the hardrive noise right down. Leads, remote, manual and box are included. It is designed to be used with an existing Freeview or Sky tuner.

The purchaser will need to pay a monthly subscription to Tivo for the service, which is £10 per month or £199 for life. Details of the Tivo service can be found at http://www.tivo.co.uk/0.0.asp

 

From memory it records about 54 hours in high quality mode and I think it will record over 200 hours in lower quality mode. Using tools such as Tytools, its possible to get the programs of the box, edit them (if required) and then burn to dvd

 

£200 quid.

 

Buyer would need to collect from Coventry, or pay p&p.

Unfortunately I don't need one as I've already got one, great piece of kit .

 

Have you thought of advertising it here http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/ they've got a UK section and you'll probably get a better response.
