Set Bilstein Shocks & Springs (96 on Wide Track)

Recommended Posts

Excellent condition from a 2001 R500 fitted with wide track front suspension.

I purchased them for the Adjustable Platforms and possible fitting of complete units to my 93 car.

After visiting Caterham Cars, I have decided to just fit the platforms to my original shocks as the shocks and springs changed design after 95.

Therefore I am selling the new shocks(bushes in excellent condition), top spring holders (cast, cone shaped ally) and springs (Red front & black back with powder coating in good condition). Previous owner did mainly track days. I recon shocks are one of the few moving parts on a car that have an easier life on the track!

Can send photo's and dimensions on request.

Looking for around £100 but will take best offer as they are now just taking up space, or there is always e bay!

Bruce.

I've been asked a couple of times if the shocks are 'M0's or 'M1's. The ID at the end of the number stamped onto the shock body say's 'M0'.

I guess M1's are more desirable.

Don't forget they include good springs. It looks like I'm going to have to fork out about £40 just to have my old springs re powder coated!

Still open to offers before I chuck them on e bay with no reserve!

Bruce.
