Steve Robinson
Not sure if this has any value or not... I have just replaced my Dedion tube as it is showing the first signs of cracking around the damper mountings and as the car is used purely for sprinting I wanted to replace rather than try my luck, or repair etc. If anyone wants it then drop me an email. Will be going up the tip next week, so now open to offers, collection from Bedfordshire. rj
Steve, Which version is this tube? /regin
Steve Robinson
It's from my 98 roadsport A. Looking at the thread on the dedion failures in techtalk I would say it is probably the version 3. Steve
zak
A little off topic perhaps but what is the reference you refer to in Techtalk? Cos the bolt thru the bottom of the shock on mine snapped when I was going round a roundabout - bloody scary The tube had the bolt left in it and I couldnt get it out and bought a new one. Just curiousity Zak www.zak7.com
Tony Whitley
here but yours sounds different - the bolt failed not the de Dion tube. Fatalism means never having to wonder if it's safe to overtake
rj
Thanks Steve, Unfortunately what I'm after is a current one - to cut it up! /regin
