Parts specifications

I need a few replacement bits but when I tell the bloke in the spares shops that "x" is for a Caterham, most reply with "a what? - never 'eard of it mate!"

Need front pads (preferably tomorrow hence any spec will do) as they were covered in oil (see "sump disaster"). Which tin tops use the same pads?

Also need a rear indicator bulb - same question again - which regular car do the bulbs correspond to?

A few more clues are required ...which front brakes do you have ? AP or standard ? . I'm sure one of us could then tell you . Otherwise - "cant help ya mate "

Bulbs are pretty universal , simply remove the bulb that has failed , take it to halfords and match the mounting type and the wattage .

Std pads are Triumph Spitfire I think.

 

PAds for AP big brakes you will not get in a retail outlet.

I've got standard brakes (with exception of AP Racing m.cylinder).

Front pads are mintex part ref no MGB533

 

if you give any auto factor they should be able to supply a set of std pads although I would suggest at least an uprated version of m1144 if they have them.
