Petrol Cap

RHETT LAND

Recommended Posts

I need an original equipment Monza type fuel filler cap (or something similar).

Has anyone gone for one of the s****y flush jobs and now have the original as surplus?

I've modified my filler to a straight up job, underneath the tonneau, much easier to fill to the top. Now I need to smarten up the rear of the car with a dummy filler cap and neck.

You do know how much those things weigh don't you Rhett? I know you've got a boat anchor for an engine, but there's no need to add even more weight at the back *biggrin*

Paul J. Hard work never killed anyone ........ but why take the chance!

PS. After all these years in the club, welcome to Blat Chat 😬 *thumbup*

Tyrone, no problem with the cap, I'm just pleased someone could help me out.

Many Thanks

Paul,

I've only just got on to Blat Chat etc. because I'm a bit of a computor brain dead, unless it's work related - yuk.

I think my 202 horses (they squeezed another couple out when setting up the carbs) will cope. Anyway, I must lose some weight (spare tyre!!), which will compensate quite well.
