RHETT LAND
I need an original equipment Monza type fuel filler cap (or something similar). Has anyone gone for one of the s****y flush jobs and now have the original as surplus? I've modified my filler to a straight up job, underneath the tonneau, much easier to fill to the top. Now I need to smarten up the rear of the car with a dummy filler cap and neck.

Tyrone
Rhett, Apologies, your cap hasn't been posted yet, I've been living large in France at a suppliers expense. Promise to send it Monday.
paul jacobs
You do know how much those things weigh don't you Rhett? I know you've got a boat anchor for an engine, but there's no need to add even more weight at the back Paul J. Hard work never killed anyone ........ but why take the chance! PS. After all these years in the club, welcome to Blat Chat 😬 Edited by - Paul Jacobs on 18 Nov 2005 20:56:
RHETT LAND
Tyrone, no problem with the cap, I'm just pleased someone could help me out. Many Thanks Paul, I've only just got on to Blat Chat etc. because I'm a bit of a computor brain dead, unless it's work related - yuk. I think my 202 horses (they squeezed another couple out when setting up the carbs) will cope. Anyway, I must lose some weight (spare tyre!!), which will compensate quite well. Tyrone
Rhett the cap has been duly despatched. It does have a couple of rust spots in the chrome but doesn't look bad. There is no key (never was while I've had the car), but since it is cosmetic I guess it doesn't matter to you.
