Robster
These are advertised at around £430 for a 'billet' kit in CCC. Seems like a cheap brake kit, has anyone used them? If you have, did they fit under 13 inch rims OK, did the car stop much better?
oilyhands
I use them (although not the billet version, just the cast version), they work very well but will only fit under 13 inch rims if you use tiny disks and mount them close to the hubs centre which is a bit of a waste. The stopping power isnt really the issue although it is better with the hawk brake pads I use, the car stopped well with the old single piston calipers, what the 4 pots do is to give far better feedback and feel so that I know *when* they are about to lock. Harry Flatters
I'm told these are a damn fine product but with one possible drawback for road use and that is that they are not fully dust sealed and thus will need regular cleaning to ensure the pistons do not get fouled. The HiSpecBigBreak offering is a similar price and the callipers are fully dust sealed.
