Recommended Posts

Reduced in price having spent £1,600 to rebuild the engine.

Impending fatherhood means that my wonderful, beautiful car is up for sale. ☹️ ☹️ ☹️

This is a great car with practically every option fitted to it (saves on upgraditis!! *thumbup*)

Overview:

2000 V reg factory built

1800 K series Supersport

Caterham Dry Sump System

RiF Carbon Aeroscreen plus spa mirrors

Freestyle shocks & Springs (outboard)

Slippy Diff

Wide Track

In more detail:

Momo Steering

Carbon Dash

Carbon Sills

Carbon rear wing protectors

Tillet Seats with 5 point harnesses

FIA roll bar

Plumbed in fire extinguisher

Windscreen

Full weather gear

Heater

25,000 miles

The car has full Caterham service history, but this doesn’t even get close to the tlc it has had over the last 3 years.

Wheels packages:

Caterham 8 spoke anthracite with ACB10. Front are not legal, rears have loads of tread left

SLR alloys 7.5x13 and 8.5x13 fitted with Michelin radial slicks

Minators (black centre) 6x13 and 7x13 fitted with Avon wets

Famous Car:

This is the very car that that fat cockney guy span on channel 4’s Driven

Extras:

I will throw in a local corner weighting session for the new owner if they have a couple of hours when they pick the car up.

I have about 16 litres of very expensive Silkolene oil as well which will need to go with the car.

The Catch:

No catch anymore, as the car has now been fixed by the Caterham agent *thumbup* *thumbup*

The Price:

I am looking for £12,800 with the supersport head.

I also have a Hellier Performance ported, big valve head and an emerald up for grabs as well with about 500 miles on it (fitted in September 2005) for £1100.

Many thanks,

Ben

Ben,

Does Pete have first dibs on all the wheels *eek*

That's just plain greedy.

I'm really keen on getting some black centered Minators, I was thinking of selling my silver ones to Mark Duffy.

Did Dave Carter get in touch by the way?
