Mike Bees
Going for some super-wide (and hence tall) List 1A tyres for next year Ken? If you're on radius arm rear suspension (as opposed to Watts-linkage type) then you'll have some fun trying to make it handle well and not have the rear end miles off the ground. KenEvans
No Mike, I'll be staying on 45 profile Stunners - it's just that the venues I'm mostly interested in (Loton, Shelsley, Prescott) suit the 4.1 gearing best.
Jason Plato
go 1900cc and then you can pull 1 gear higher
DaveMorris
Ken, if you fancy converting to a "proper" axle (Ital) then I can help out with a 4.11 ratio. 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 I take it that's a "NO" then (free BTTT) Dave
KenEvans
Daves thank you for your kind suggestions/offers however I have now agreed a course of action with Mr Clive Kenrick that doesn't leave me devoid of too many arms and legs.
