MarcNS
I would like to do some of the above next year. I purchased T.C.T.C.B. over the summer. The car has only done 3k miles, but has been stuck at the Welsh Coast for most of its life. It needs to catch up and do some events! A. What will I need? B. Can anyone sell me said items? C. Will anyone mind if I change the clamshells for cycles? Marc 😳(smilies by Thomas aged 3) Love is a Long Road
KenEvans
What exactly is TCTCB? I think you'd do better posting this in Techtalk or more likely Club Speed Events where the Sprinters/hillclimbers hang out. Tell then the spec and they'll tell you what's what. Jason Plato
ahhhhhh - the car the club built ! this was living in Pembrokeshire for a number of years . I expect Steve Winterberg may be interested to get a update report on this historical car
Steve Winterberg
I'd certainly like to know what it has been doing and get some recent pictures in Low Flying for everyone to see. As a project it was 2 years of very hard work from an awful lot of club members to get from conception to reality and raise so much money for LRF. Myles
I'd certainly like to know what it has been doing There was a rather unsavoury rumour posted in BC a long while back when it came up on ebay about some goings-on with regard to a former owner... ☹️ Project Scope-Creep is live... MarcNS
Im not sure, the owner prior to me was a Doctor! The car had been left outside for 7 years by the coast (salt air!) So it needs a bit of time spending on it. What did you hear? Regards, Marc 🤔 Love is a Long Road

MarcNS
Thanks, I got it on EBAY for £6.5k. When I got to South Wales it was nothing like the photo on EBAY and had not been driven for some time and had only ever had 1 service. I drove it back 225 miles to Stamford, with friends meeting me on route to check it over. Its a sound car just needs some TLC. The plan was to respray it, but its a fun car and now I know the history, how could I. Marc
