My engine's too low`

BUT mine is fine, with 3-4 washers so please do not "knock" everyones ideas without knowing the facts.....angry smiley

*confused*

the standard engine-mount bolts that I have would leave dangerously-little thread in the mounts if padded out with washers... They're marginal as they are.

And where was I knocking anyone else??? I referred to my bolts and issued a warning that if Dave's were anything like mine, he'd need to take care...

*wink*

OK - here's the rub then - my handling is just as i like it and finally sorted. I don't really want to knacker it up - though a teensy bit more oversteer might be ok.

I have 2.5 inches clearance below the sump. Then 2.5 inches between lowest point of sump and floorpan on the 21.

I AM on adjustable platforms, but as I said, I really don't want to knacker the handling.

Soo - after all of your long and drawn out discussions above - what's the conclusion for putting less of my sump in danger?
