rear hubs

Having fitted big brake hubs on the back o my de dion seven. I discovered that when reassemled the and when fully tightened the offside still has some play in it not enough to fail the MOT but still not right has anyone else found this and what have you done about it

make sure the centre hub nut components are clean. ie the back of the bearing surface and corresponding part of the drive shaft and the washer on the outside edge together with the nut that i think should be renewed. If all else it is probably the hub bearing.

Thanks Tim all those bits have been checked and there is still some play in it. apparently this happens from time to time when the big brake hubs are machined out the tolerance is so tight that a thou to much and this play occurs.
