Tom White Posted October 17, 2005 Share Posted October 17, 2005 Mine used to when cold or worse when restarting after a 5 to 10 minute switch off period. I stripped and cleaned the tappets/followers last winter and fettled the oilways to the followers (they didn't align), since then I get only a short ( approx. 5 seconds ) rattle period after switch on. Tom Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
