Crany
We are currently trying to get me rebuilt K series to start, we don't have any spark ! It is a standard Supersport EU2 with the Rover imobiliser and key fob, I have had a look in the archieves and performed the 5 presses of the fob as instructed, does it matter if this is done with the ignition on or off ? Is there a way of telling if it has been succesful ? The imobiliser appears to function correctly, turning on and off etc. Any ideas where else to look ? Crank position sensor (it was the rod nearest this that broke), any other ideas ? Thanks, Mark.

Mark Durrant
Check the ECU fuse as they were originally 20amp and should be replaced with a 30amp fuse. Mark D Su77on Se7ens

Myles
The immobiliser resynch is 5 presses with either button with the ignition on. Sorry, cross purposes. Ignition off.... Ignition on is part of the ECU reset... 😳 It should be obvious when it has succeeded because you will either hear a clip-clop relay sound and the sentry light will go out, or you will hear a single click and the sentry-light will flash rapidly for a few seconds as the system arms (before changing to a brief flash once a second). Support Team Shaun_E Posted October 8, 2005 Support Team Share Posted October 8, 2005 Check the coil too. Mine died between taking it off for my rebuild and refitting it. Yellow SL #32 Edited by - Shaun_E on 8 Oct 2005 16:46:
