Nick VVC Posted December 2, 2001 Share Posted December 2, 2001 Gareth, I've recently swopped from 15" to 13" wheels - existing cycle wings now look too large, so intend to get a set for 13" wheels -are new stays also needed or will the existing ones be OK - or do they hold the wings too far from the wheel? I've ordered a set of 13/14" stays from Caterham. Not cheep though at £40 each! Clik, as they are Carbon wings I don't really want to bond them on as the chances of them falling off are too high. MJS Posted December 2, 2001 Share Posted December 2, 2001 Gareth, I bonded my carbon wings to right angled pieces of ali, then ty wrpped them tp the wing stays. I used Araldite Precision (I thinkit's called), and they haven't fallen of yet. You may want to do the bonding indoors now that the weather has turned cold, to ensure a good bond.
