My brother in Ireland is looking far a reliable runabout and is on the look out for an early 106 diesel or a fiesta, 106, saxo etc 1.1 cc petrol to use as a daily runabout. I will be selling my old car soon...1.4 Escort LX (saloon)..met green, lowish miles (less than half that I've got on the seven), new driveshafts, new alternator- gotta fit that, fair condition, immob etc...will have 12 mths MOT! Rob Morris Posted September 27, 2005 Share Posted September 27, 2005 Got a friend with an N Reg Fiesta Diesel, 1 owner from new (him) he would put 12 months MOT on for your sort of money. If I remember correct it's done around 80k and has always been well serviced by him including the cam belt etc. Car has slight rust to RH rear wheel arch and front valence is chipped and painted black, but otherwise sound little car give me a call if interested........?
