adrain
Does anyone kow the best location to connect in a tacho feed to a DL1 Data Logger. Is soldering a connection anywhere on the white/black feed to the tacho OK? -Or is a conection on the flywheel/crank connection better 🤔 K1600 EU3 SS engine. Mike Bees
I'd tap into the tacho feed, I'm not sure that any logger will cope with the 4-missing-from-36 pattern on the flywheel (nor actually be able to detect the signal from the sensor). Adam
I think Mikes right .... Ive used various data loggers (although not a DL1) and found the tacho drive signal works. I would not connect any extra wires etc to the crank signal - if any noise gets into this signal the ecu will get very confused
