A nice opportunity if you looking for a very well presented and fully restored Lotus Super Seven Series II.

Details:

• Model: Lotus Super Seven Series II - 1967

• Chassis no.: SB2237

• Engine: Ford 109E Cosworth, 1340cc

• Carbs: 2 x Weber 40DCOE

• Colour: Lotus Yellow

• Ex. factory: December 1967 (according to letter from Lotus Cars Ltd., signed by Peter Brand)

• Road registered in Norway

SB2237 was fully restored (nut-and-bolt) to beautiful condition in 1993 by Tony Weale (who wrote “Lotus Seven – Restoration/Preparation/Maintenance). The car was unused and stored until 2004, and has only covered approximately 3900 miles since the restoration.

I am selling the car to make room for restoration of another Lotus Super Seven SII.

Dear Barry

I agree that guidelines are there for a purpose. Likewise I think users should refrain from posting irrelevant stuff on other users strings (ref. some of the comments above). Thus my initial reaction.

another example of a poster not showing any intention of sticking to the guidelines, could the advertise their car anywhere else without a price.

I think the guidlines on blatchat are for the benefit of all members so lets all keep to them.

Peter - that is between 10 and 20k - Sterling - it's about £19k for those that are interested - and this is relevant, Oakleaf.

FWIW too, every time someone posts on your thread, it moves to the top again - a real benefit I'd say.

Nice car, BTW - nearly had my hands on one in restorable state in 1986 for £1500....sighs....
