David Lynch Posted September 19, 2005 Share Posted September 19, 2005 Anyone got Part Number for an Alternator - 1.4SS Rover K Series 1995 with Enclosed fan (stone protection, and it obvoiusly works) and 4 groove V belt (approx 60mm Pulley Diameter). I've sourced an alternator but can't remove old pulley wheel and fan (nut splitter time unless find socket with flats). I am assuming (normally mother of all ups) that given lack of ancillaries a 55A Alternator should do the job. A previous thread listed a Rover YLE101520. As I understand this and other later Alternators had different rear plug arrangement (post '96) and won't take the guard. Cheers 1.4K SS 😬 Blue with white (and more and more black)bits. Magneti Marelli with the following information on the sticker: 54022631 12V (serial number?) & Type: A127-55. Purchased new from CC in 1999 as a spare & has never been used.
