Area Representative Richard Price Posted September 11, 2005 Area Representative Share Posted September 11, 2005 Dave, Only 2 class 4 runners, so griff went home after his first run, but will still get 20.5. No class 1 runners. Dannyboy took class 2 from me (so I've got to win, beating second place, by 1.22 seconds next weekend to overtake Mark. A tall order ❗ ❗) Adrian Williams took class 3. Simon was on his own in class 5. Brodie didn't show - not sure of the final order, but I think Jezz beat, a handy looking, Ben Shalders, in his R400 race car. It ranged between quite damp to very wet all day.
Jason Plato
Ohhh , I feared it would have been wet ☹️ I was listening to the weather forcast on radio 4 as I unloaded my car on Brighton seafront in the blazing sunshine 😬 see you next weekend dave
Jason Plato
But a good example of how the points are determined by who else turns up ☹️ , I wonder by how much Andrew lowered the class record 🤔
Area Representative Richard Price Posted September 11, 2005 Area Representative Share Posted September 11, 2005 I wonder by how much Andrew lowered the class record He didn't! IIRC 53.0something - both Dan and I went quicker.
GrannY OrB TuneR
Even though it was drier in the afternoon it was still very tricky after 'the gate'. The track remaining very greasy through the trees to the finsh. Despite this there was no major offs & I think an award should go to Simon Harland for the classiest finish by spinning across the line 😬 Baptism of fire for my first hillclimb though. Despite the rain it was a very enjoyable day. 😬 & good to have 3 timed runs Congrats to all class winners Gary GrannY OrB TuneR 😳 Tweaker Of Fine Granny Orbs ! 😳 Superlight No: 170 Edited by - GrannY OrB TuneR on 12 Sep 2005 00:37:
david nelson
Gary 3rd in class 3 on your 1st hill climb is briliant. You seem to be getting quicker all the time. Should make next year even more fun. David
