Peter Carmichael Posted November 27, 2001 Share Posted November 27, 2001 Check the bush that backs onto the pinion (big nut). Mark everything first so that you can adjust relative to the original position. The rack must have some play. You can adjust the lock nut until it just goes tight and then back off a bit.
