electronic ignition

All the systems mentioned above are fine and will do the job well and in the past I have installed and used all of them, the least expensive and easiest to install was definitely the Aldon Ignitor, both the trigger and amplifier are contained inside the distributor which makes it a two wire job to install, its very compact and neat. It's ideal on classic cars because there is very little extra wiring and no external boxes.

Colin,

I have just done the same as you - removed the Micro Dynamics and replaced it with a Lucas Comp ignition from Roger. As Roger states it is a monster spark and a doddle to fit. The Micro dyamics did however have a built in rev limiter which the Lucas doesn't. If you want anymore info feel free to e-mail.

Regards

Phil Owen.
