Its such a contrast to the other venues we visit - its sooooo fast *smile* . I cant help but think abot the 1950's formula 1 cars that were driven around that course with so little grip and so much more power then we have *thumbup*Plus of course we get lots of runs and the selection of machinery in the British Championship is always good there .

so good we should do it twice 🤔

Whilst its interesting for me to get up to 115mph, in the lower powered cars, I think the course is a little dull!

Three corners and two long long straights are more a test of power (or power to weight ratio).

I was almost as fast over the finish line having been stopped on the inside of Bechers bend after spinning 😳.

I think one visit each season is enough.

John - yes, I was talking to one of the marshalls about it. But the new stands are planned to be on the other side of melling road from the part of the track used by the LMC sprints and track days.

 

It does mean that plans for a northern revival meeting are a bit stymied though....
