rgrigsby
I'll back out and about in the sprints next year with my car but this year my focus has been on keeping it in once piece for the USA2005 trip, it's currently in a container half way across the Atlantic!! andy couchman
...am depressed ☹️ Drove cr*p all day, failed to beat previous times despite better tyres, car bogged down off the line on both runs (still wouldn't have been very quick without that). Then car failed to run cleanly after loading up to go home and was kindly trailered back by Gavin Craig. But did get to Drive Gav's Superlight R home 😬 😬 😬 Special to Gav, Graham Ford and Roger Swift for all helping. Brilliant people and typical of this Club. Now desperately hoping to get it running for Brighton on Saturday... Andy
Barbara Swift
Erm - can I just say that the results mistake(s!) were made by the "results service" we had employed for the day at Curborough and NOT Lorna who filled in the times sheet all day for everyone to check their times on and NOT Adrian, Nifty and Debby in the commentary box who were also keeping the same records. Tam
It was a super day - weather was fantastic and there were suitably impressive times being put in from all classes I managed to get sub-70 which a 3 second improvement since May All the results came out right in the end, which is what counts. Thanks as ever to Roger, Barbara and the commentary team (Adrian swears he only said nice things, but you can't hear them from the start line 😳 ) Tam
