Wahey Posted September 1, 2005 Share Posted September 1, 2005 I can't for the life of me remember what they are called but I need a locking thing that goes on a wheel of my trailer to stop people nicking it. I have just moved house and need the trailer to be a bit more secure. If no-one has one could you please recommend a good vfm one for a clubman 950 trailer - same size wheels as a minno. Mark Durrant Posted September 2, 2005 Share Posted September 2, 2005 I use the heavy duty hitchlock see here and if your going to leave the trailer outside I suggest you concrete in a fixing into the driver and secure with a heavy duty padlock and chain as IMO most wheel clamps can be removed fairly easily. I need it to satisfy the Eggar lawson trailer insurance policy I have - I still have the trailer at my old address which is pretty crime free - my new place is a little riskier so I had better make sure I am covered.
