robmar
just out of interest how is this stacking up assume dsl and dannyboy are battling it out near the top... but who else is eligible for this? and what are the standings overall? rob
Mark Durrant
Rob Good question. I agree with you that it is probably between Danny and Darren and I expect it will probably go down to the last event. BB is on holiday at present so the championship standings do not include Llandow 2 and Curbuggers 3 & 4 but the picture should be clearer when he returns by which time we will also have the results from Aintree. Dannyboy
I would argue that I certainly drive like a novice....and Darren.....well.......Loton park and corners spring to mind! 😬 😬 😬 Dannyboy 153bhp and 184lb/ft ??????????????????? robmar
don't put yourself down too much i think you should be pretty happy with your results in one of the more competitive classes....
Dannyboy
Rob...was just a bit of jesting!! Might come and play with you boys next year 😬 😬 😬 😬 getting far too much stick in Class 2 😬 😬 😬 Dannyboy 153bhp and 184lb/ft ??????????????????? robmar
You will be very welcome (especially with those stunners 😬), but you will stil get stick, just from different people 😬
Dannyboy
Well.....I could try some ACB's 😬 😬 😬 And..I think we have a different level of sarcasm in class 2 😬 😬 particularly with them saga sevens in there 😬 Dannyboy 153bhp and 184lb/ft ??????????????????? Martin S.
I'll probably register for the championship next year. So having done 2 sprints in 2002 and a grand total of 4 this year does that mean I'm won't be classed as a novice for the championship next year? ........cos I certainly don't feel like an 'expert' yet 😬 Not especially bothered, just curious
robmar
Danny - the killer/secret compiund of acb's you are after is A33 I believe Martin - nope you will not be a 'novice' , the ide behind the novice championship is to encourage those club memebers who have never done any competition to give it a try, and at the same time give the opportunity to win some silverware, which it was thought was a blocker (i.e. not being competitive and not having anythign to play for) in terms of getting new sprinters interested int he club championship... although I am not sure how much 'advertising' of the novice championship we have done... rob

robmar
NP It is always hard to define a novice, as hypothetically someone could have done a single curbugger event 5 years ago and they technically wouldn't count, but then the line has to be drawn somewhere... Dannyboy
Cheers for the tip Rob....perhaps I could borrow your A33 compound ones 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 My A24 or was that 16....wouldn't be any good then 😬 😬 😬 Dannyboy 153bhp and 184lb/ft ??????????????????? DSL
Danny boy, novices are allowed to make novice mistakes surely ❗ ❗ Will need new excuses for next season 😬 😬 So wrapped up in each event, totally forgot I was a novice anyway *thumbup*
