Gavin
Fresh air heater ( late type ) with valve - fitted to a X/flow. Which way round should the hoses from the engine be? Currently have the hose from the inlet manifold going to the upper valve fitting, and the hose from the water pump going to the lower valve fitting ( the part with the actual valve ). Only seem to get hot air from heater, even in fresh air mode. Or do they all do this Thank you. WILL FLY
On a K Series the top hose comes from the thermostat bypass and the bottom hose goes to the water rail on the block. AIUI water flows from the water rail through the valve to the thermostat. Works for me. Roy. See willfly.net for more info.
