simon67
Love to know if it was a real one. Was on the back of an open trailer this afternoon. Reg no' CSK 894. Certainly looked like the real thing - lovely patina. Anyone recognise the reg' ? Cheers Simon Red '91 VX HPC
paulyb
That is certainly not one of the original car reg nos, though as we all know regs tend to change over time. As with most historic cars they tend to be catalogued by serial number rather than reg no. for this reason. Being a classic Jag fan I have detailed files on all the XKD serial numbers. If you give me some more details - short nose or long nose / fin, colour...etc., I could probably confirm and tell you a little about the car if it is genuine
simon67
Bit tricky to get details but it definately had a fin and also a reference to British Aerospace on the bodywork behind the cockpit. Certainly looked the real deal. Simon Red '91 VX HPC
