JampJ
Anyone know of anyone who can make me a SS FIA style rollbar close to Manchester? Cheers J&J JFDI (Just F*****g Do It)
Myles
I *suspect* that 'FIA style' is the operative phrase... ...I'm not an engineer or metals guru, but I suspect stainless-steel isn't an appropriate (or rather approved) material for this function. If you want a bling rollbar - how about chrome-plating (other than the nightmare of peeling/chipping and the cost...?) Project Scope-Creep is live... F355GTS
And I think Chrome isn't allowed for FIA approved racing as it gives off poisonous fumes in fire Mark
JampJ
Stainless is fine, as long as it's a suitable grade and thickness. Chroming isn't advised as the process weakens the metal. According to Mr. Caterham that is! Cheers J&J JFDI (Just F*****g Do It)
Myles
Righty-ho. Stand corrected. Project Scope-Creep is live... Alcester Racing 7's Equipe - 🙆🏻™ Alcester-Racing-Sevens.com
