The BiB slowed us all down so they could drive fast up the hard shoulder (and reverse quickly - very funny seeing a police volvo doing 40 mph or so backwards!) I went to Bristol a few years ago to see a mate who was at uni there and it seemed like most of the dogs in the country had headed that way then as well.
