I want to fit a 2nd hand one for now until I am sure that the coil failure was not a secondary because of something else playing up (e.g. ignition amplifier, ecu, or wiring fault). If you have the ignition amp I might be interested in that too. It's a small 7-pin unit about 2" x 1" that was fixed to the chassis rail behind the engine. My car is a factory built VX injection, distributorless, post-93, wasted spark. LT connector has 3 pins. I understand that there are up to 4 coilpacks fitted to the various VX models. Some are for dizzy cars, some have 4-pin LT connectors. My part numbers: coilpack: Bosch 0 221 503 001 amp: Bosch 0 227 100 200 Picture: here. As an alternative to buying direct from Vx you might fond one cheaper here. Probably best to phone as their website isn'everything they can do.
