johns
Not only has my 7 developed a CRB failure meaning it cant go to Baywatch but whilst studying last night for my final exams on the computer (because i could'nt go driving in the 7) the monitor decided to smoke , then pop, then die ☹️ Its not my week. The dead monitor is a 17 inch standard shaped gateway thing from 1997 with standard pc monitor connection cable. Before I go and buy a new one does anyone have one they are thinking of selling? I need 17inch minimum as I mostly do CAD work on it but 19 inch would be handy. I'd also consider a 17 inch/ 19 inch flat screen. If you have something suitable please let me know the screen size/style and price and i'll let you know if I'm interested. I will pick up from East/West Sussex ideally or any area meeting point. many thanks. just wondering what the 3rd thiong to go wrong will be ❗ John S Burgess Hill

Steve Kirk
I have a 17" CRT that you can have for free. It's not been used since I bought my LCD, but works fine. As it happens it is also Gateway (EV700A), similar age, with std connector. I'm in central London but am probably headed to to Steve Foster's (M3 J3 Lightwater) tomorrow if that's any use? John_C
I can get you a 22" HP monitor, they are very large though. The monitors are less than 18 months old. The company I work for are changing to flat screens. I am located in Farnham, Surrey. Cheers John
