Spring Rates

I have a 12 year old live axle seven and have decided to treat it to some new suspension for Xmas. The problem I have is what spring rates to use. I've already decided on the dampers (AVO'S ~ when they've got some!)and I've had a browse through as many of the blatchats as I can find on the subject of spring rates.

My problem is how to cater for the right springs to cope with my weight (18 stone ~ give or take the odd ounze!)

Help please!!!!

I think your best bet is to get in touch with one of the experts, James Whiting/ Paul Harvey etc, and have a chat. Spring rates are, to some extent also down to personal choice - how do you like the car to feel. There are a huge range of springs, and trial and error is probably the only way to find what you want (unless what you have works for you).
