robmar
my plan is to come up and camp, not sure what time, do they close a gate or anything can bring the usual sossigies, beer and pringles...
Jason Plato
no I dont think the gate is closed - the camping area is next to the paddock which in turn is right next to the main road - a quiet road . Folk were arriving past 9pm last year The downside to arriving late is that you will end up camping on a 30 degree slope 😬
Silver 21
Gate does get closed but not until later and then its not locked. Please remember not to camp in the paddock, you can only camp 'up the hill' where the parking is. Not sure I will be able to camp this year, other things going on but am hoping to drive a car *thumbup* Graham Competition Secretary 2005 Speed Championship - 13 Rounds with 7 counting towards the championship
Adrian Williams
Probably Dave, I won't know for certain until next week but I expect to be there in time for a bbq and will happily bring some grub and beers. Adrian
RichardO
Need to check the regs on this - weren't there some restrictions on open fires (a BBQ would count I think!) due to the camping being in parkland? R
Jason Plato
BBQ was OK last year - probably cos its on a proper stand and all so it didnt burn the grass - I took all my ashes back home with me and everything I'm quite sure that the happy chirpy lady that came wandering around last time would have pissed on my bonfire so to speak if there had been a problem 😬
