Graham Perry
One for the electricians out there.I am running an Emerald 3D ECU on my all steel x/flow. I am currently upgrading the other elecrics on the car. I am told I need a more powerful Coil on my car than the ten year old Bosch 'Blue' one that it currently has. How do I find out if the new coil needs a balast resistor on it ? Some coils are apparently so efficient that they can damage an ECU without one . Also where would it be wired in , in relation to the Coil ?
Mike Bees
Best thing to do is 'phone Emerald and speak to Karl, or email him (karlpaton@aol.com). Mike
