AndrewD
I want to fit some slicks to my SLR. A couple of questions: 1. I have dry sump, presumably no other mods are needed to make to car and the extra stress doesn't in fact blow up the drivetrain does it? 2. I currently have 7.5in fronts and 8in rears (ACB10s) - I need to buy a spare set of wheels but not sure what size to go for - with all that extra grip do I really need 7.5s/8s for slicks as well? And do different wheel sizes mean I need to get spacers or anything? Sorry for the slightly non technical nature of this! Thanks Andrew
Gridgway
You should be ok on the stress front as you will be same spec as the SLR racers as far as I know. In that vein you could go for the same size wheels and tyres as are run on the race cars. Taken from the Caterham web site... Front: 6.5" x 13", Avon slick 7-20-13. Rear: 8.5" x 13", Avon slick 9-20-13. Graham

Mike C.
A pair of 8.5" R500 rears with slicks (decribed as 'as new')were advertised in the For Sale section earlier this month. Mad Manx
