Irrelevant
This is based on Avon radials, not Michelin, but I don't see why this should make a huge difference. Rears need about 1 degree negative so use .25 ears and shim them if the tyres aren't being fully worked. Fronts should be about -2 to -2.5. Check temps to make sure all the tyres are getting fully worked accross their surfaces. Info originally from BMTR and passed on to me by a kind radial slick using Blatchatter Must get the Gigabusa finished
Petrolhead
Interesting - Rears 1deg negative. So the std DD Ears would suit the Avons better at 1.25 deg (I think) NE7Club Web Site R5 no 65 😬 I am after low level tyre rack and jerry can box for Mino
Alex Wong1697456877
I thought the radial slicks need more -ve camber than the stiffer sidewalled crossply slicks. Incidentally, Slipperman used to use Michelin radial slicks and I could keep up when he had those. Now he's on the Avon ones and he's going so much faster and I'm generally just in his way! Alex Wong1697456877
They did appear to be made of concrete and last forever - maybe not a suitable compound for a Seven?
