Jam Mad Posted November 12, 2001 Share Posted November 12, 2001 as part of my 'track days on a budget' masterplan, i have saved my last balding set of a021rs for a track day t(h)rashing... but i need some wheels to put them on... i don't really want to spend money on alloys, so steels will do, 'cos i'm not going to do much track day stuff... which wheels do i need ? a few people have vaguely said, " oh yeah, you need old escort wheels.... Several years ago (approx 10 I think) I needed a set of cheap wheels for my sprint tyres (live axle Ital) and they stocked (at that time) FF wheels that were 3.75 pcd and the right offset. John has given a simpler explanation than I wrote, even I could not understand mine. The figures are Ital 3.75" and Ford (live or de-dion) 4.24". If you get the wrong wheels they simply will not fit.
