Jason Plato
firstly - thanks to BB of a great day on Saturday *thumbup* . I hate MIRA , it freaks me out for some reason with its lack of reference points and blind crest into tower at 100 mph + . Then the subtle changes with the coned area , I struggle to get a line each run . Roll on Loton ( got a few local South West rounds to occupy my time in July ) Dave Edited by - Dave Jackson on 27 Jun 2005 08:10:
GrannY OrB TuneR
Dave certainly experienced some interesting moments into tower ❗ I will admit that MIRA grew on me - the 1st 2 runs I did not particularly enjoy. Mainly due to the fact that I have not driven the track before & the first practise run was slightly damp But glad they had trimmed the grass . I remember from last years event the grass was quite long. You may remember I was one of the start line marshalls. By the end of that day I quite liked MIRA event though I struggled to get the tower section correct. Looking forward to the event next year assuming we have one 🤔 Thanks to all involved in the day & fantastic that we got 4 timed runs in. Thanks to Jeff Smith & Dave Warren for driving slightly slower than me . Looking forward to the next meet where battle commences again GrannY OrB TuneR 😳 Tweaker Of Fine Granny Orbs ! 😳 Superlight No:
Graham Perry
That powerslide / oversteer / drift, at the tower by Dave looked great, was it on Video ? Edited by - Graham Perry on 27 Jun 2005 13:47:
mav
PB and only one second behind the owner fo the car I was driving on Saturday is not bad, considering I only drove the car for the first time to the start line for the wet practice in the morning
