Harry Flatters
Has anyone got a carbon dash panel (std layout - no extra holes). Steve Mell PTM
masha
I have - but the only reason I'd consider parting with it is to get some cash to upgrade to the full carbon dash (mine is the mk1 in my 97 superlight which doesn't have the knee trims extensions in carbon, so I carbon wrapped some knee trim panels, but would like the full carbon dash). Any ideas how much the new full one is?
Harry Flatters
Masha, There is no upgrade to a dash with integral knee trims. What you need are the two carbon fibre knee trim panels from Caterham at the jolly reasonable price of about £75 quid each eek.gif. Part nos are 78018CF & 78019CF. So I guess you'll be keeping the dash then. Don't feel too bad 'cos I ended up buying one from Caterham at £173+VAT!. masha
I checked on the availability of these parts a while ago and Caterham said they are no longer available. I guess I'll get the £170+ full dash sometime and sell my mk1 Caterham Carbon Dash on for a token £100 sometime to help justify the cost of the new one. thanks M
Chelspeed
Just for info the roadsport cage bolts to the dash where the bits from the mkI carbon dash are missing. All you need is someone with a roadsport cage who wants a carbon dash and you're laughing.
