Fathead
My 7 is getting close to 24k miles now (1.6 roadsport) and so is probably due the big service. What is involved and is it difficult (could i do it myself with the help of a local mechanic)? I'd imagine its fairly pricy to do at caterham plus i live a long way from them (cornwall). What is the best idea - find an autherised caterham one which is close -maybe theres one at barstaple or exeter?? - or do it myself?? (my knowledge is rubbish but i'd be keen to learn!!) oh and plus i'm pretty skint so cheap is definately better if possible!! regards f.hiddy

Myles
I had my 4k-old 7 run through a 24k service at Millwoods when I got it originally - just to make sure it was starting on the level... ...the £600+ bill was the reason why I started doing all of my own servicing - the real gob-smack was the labour-charge for fitting front indicator-repeaters and a lighter-socket...
