Archie Procter
It's a bit, erm, misleading isn't it. The £199/month doesn't include the £16k to buy the car for a start! Andrew
Stuart Faulds
erm that's exactly what it *does* cover - it's a finance package to purchase the car. Edited by - Stuart Faulds on 15 Jun 2005 13:54:
Archie Procter
Good grief - how long does it take to pay for it then? By my calculations at £16k it would be 80 months - i.e. almost 7 years!!! Without interest charges!! And that doesn't include the racing, upkeep, SVA etc!!!! They must want a hell of a deposit to pay it back at £199/month. Unless of course you cut your costs by selling the car at the end of the academy year, then it's only the year 1 depreciation and all the other costs. Am I missing something? Matthew Willoughby
Andrew, I think you're missing the balloon payment. ISTR from another thread that there's a deposit, £199 for three years and a balloon of around 9K after that. Whatever, it 's nothing like as good value as jumping straight in with the Grads.
